The concept is simple, produce a locally brewed, full flavor range of beers that would appeal to both local farmers needing to quench their thirst after a long days work and tourists after a celebratory pint having survived one of the many adventure caving options offered in the village. A beer that would showcase the rich heritage of the area and enhance the ‘Waitomo Experience’ for all those who visited.

We believe that beer tastes best coming out of a tap in the company of good friends, which is why you will only find our products on tap at our very own brew bar located in the center of the village or on a select few taps at trusted bars spread throughout the King Country.

If you are passing through Waitomo, our new 'King Country Bitter' is on tap at Curly's Bar: Well worth trying a pint or two, the tasting notes are as follows: -
“Born out of the same stable as our multi-award winning Pale Ale, this new beer is for those people who like something slightly less fruity with a well-balanced, lingering bitterness that will make you crave for more! It’s classic zesty flavour comes from the copious amounts of Nelson Sauvin and Motueka dry hops added post-fermentation”
